Larval survival rate throughout the rearing periods until pupation (A) and to adulthood (B). Individual pupation started at the 8th day after rearing and all larvae entered pupal stages at the 13th day after rearing. Different letters indicated significant differences of the percentage of survived individuals among the four types of rearing units on the same day, ns indicates no significant difference (A); different letters indicated significant differences of the percentage of larvae survived to adult among the four types of rearing units (B)
